TIF 2 Electric Activity

Florencia Gavilan

"Electric Activity ” is a graphic novel that approaches epilepsy more as an experience than as a disease. It explores the relationship of this condition with its protagonists in the present, framed in the Western medical canon, and how different cultures have understood it over time and around the world. One of its objectives is to take the disease out of the medical field and place it in a cultural context, where the possibilities of understanding the same phenomenon are multiple.
