Even though she isn’t fond of the neighborhood, Andrea is happy to be moving into her new home with friends. One day, she begins to suspect there is an infestation in her room, sparking a grotesque struggle against invisible insects. Those around her believe she is hallucinating, and the problem reaches a breaking point when, due to a poorly diluted insecticide, Andrea accidentally poisons the household pet.
Overwhelmed by loneliness and insomnia, she ends up talking one night with marginalized characters from the neighborhood whom she had never dared to approach before. To her surprise, they are not only friendly but are the only ones who believe her and encourage her to face the situation. Thanks to them, Andrea will realize that believing in herself and wiping out the plague is more important than the opinions of others; she will fight the final battle to win and transform into a more confident and less prejudiced person.
Strengthened by this unexpected support, Andrea realizes that wiping out the pest is more important than anyone else’s opinion. She faces the final battle and emerges victorious.
