Lorena Ruiz

She is an illustrator and graphic designer. She lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina.She works as a freelance illustrator for audiovisual projects, editorial work, and clothing prints.She is an educator, having taught several times at FADU, UBA, and regularly conducts technical experimentation workshops.She begins her illustrations with paper cutouts and brush or marker textures.Then she organizes, mixes, and compiles this material digitally.She is fascinated by plants, nature, and everything that can be seen underwater. Ecology and botany are her favorite themes to illustrate.She has worked for Disney, MTV, Nickelodeon, National Geographic, Fox, VH1, Coca-Cola, Paka Paka, among others.Her work as an illustrator has been published in Clarín, SM, Jacobin, and Periplo Ediciones.She is the author of the book: "A viajar, semillas!" which marks the beginning of her journey in children's editorial illustration.
