Visual Essay IN MY TIME

Gaby Thiery

Not long ago, there was a very different world than today. In the analogue years, the pre-internet era, we had to wait, get lost and share objects like the TV, the telephone or the radio. The options were limited and everything happened at a slower pace. Today, there are hardly any vestiges of that time, but the amphibious generation lived through that transition and adapted to the digital universe. This visual essay is a guide for those who did not live through those times and a starting point for telling anecdotes from those who did.
