Visual Essay Memories of a Relic

Camila Mallozzi

Memorias de una Reliquia (Memories of a Relic) emerges from a personal exploration of the objects we cherish. What do we hold dear in our treasure troves? Objects, stories, sounds, scents? This work is a cabinet of curiosities spanning 24 pages, showcasing pieces that are eccentric, esoteric, and seemingly unrelated. Each item reflects the author’s memories and her unique perception of beauty. We preserve fragments of memory as relics — those irreplaceable moments. This visual essay aspires to be, in itself, a relic of a memory.
