The game of Otherness emerges from the lessons of my unfinished career in Anthropology. One of the concepts that fascinated me the most when I was studying was that of “otherness”: a sort of antonym of “identity”. Anthropology is concerned with otherness more than any other social science: with other ethnicities and cultures, with other ways of being and seeing the world. This visual essay is my way of seeing this dynamic game of identity and otherness, with the idea of opening our gaze and celebrating the diversity of multiple othernesses.
